Getting Started Programming Microcontrollers
Posted by Administrator on 1/1/2012
Programming PICs in BASIC by Chuck Hellebuyck is a great book for someone just getting started with programming microcontrollers.

The book uses the PICBASIC Pro compiler sample version and the small but powerful 8 pin PIC12F683 microcontroller. The projects in the book are easy to reproduce with full schematic and pictures of how to build them with our 8pin Chipaxe module. We now stock all the various options. You can buy the full kit including the book, or just the PICkit 2 programmer, chipaxe module and parts or just the chipaxe module and parts alone.

All the software is available from our download page. If you're just getting started this is a great option. And from there you can expand the project using our breadboard modules.
